Fusion Middleware Installation Guide for Oracle WebLogic Server


Installing Oracle 12c Weblogic Server (Infrastructure) on Windows 7 64 Bit.


Software used for this Installation. 
Jdk-8u92-windows-x64.exe 
Oracle 12c pluggable database with AL32UTF8 Character set.
Weblogic Server (Infrastructure)

JAVA Installation
Step 1. Download JDK from below location



Step 2.  Open download location and right click and select Run as administrator.
               Install jdk on its default path. Don’t Changes their Installation path.



Step 3.  Click Next.


 Step 4.  Click Change button to change the path from c:\Program files



Step 5.  Path is changed to C:\Java and click Next.


Step 6.  Change the path for Java JRE Setup.




Step 7.  Click Next to install the Java




Step 8.  Java Installation starts.




Step 8.  Java Installation completed press close button.





Step 9.  Check Java is installed.



Step 10.  Edit entry in hosts file located in C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc
127.0.0.1 localhost.





Step 11.  Create new JAVA_HOME System variable.



Step 12.  Edit the ‘Path’ Variable in System variable and add the entry C:\Java\jdk1.8.0_72\bin at the Last.




Weblogic 12c (Infrastructure) Installation.


Download the Weblogic 12c Infracture from oracle website and extract it.


Open the location where you have downloaded and extracted the weblogic installation file.
In my case I have downloaded and extracted in D:\Oracle12c. This is .jar file and you cannot directly run this by double click.



Step 1.  Open CMD.exe [Run as administrator] and change directory to D:\Oracle12c and run the installer as D:\Oracle12c\java –jar fmw_12.2.1.0.0_infrastructure.jar




Step 16.   Click Next on Welcome screen.



 Step 17.   Skip Auto Update and click Next.



 Step 18.   Select Installation location and press Next Button.



 Step 19.   Accept Fusion middleware infrastructure and click Next.


  
Step 20.   Click Install button to start installing WLS.


Step 21.   Installation progress starts.



 Step 22.   Progress completed press Next.



 Step 23.   Installation Completed Press Finish Button.


Configure Weblogic

To create a domain by using the Configuration Wizard, perform the following steps:
In a Terminal window, perform the following steps:
a.     Navigate to <ORACLE_HOME>/wlserver/common/bin.
b.     To run the Configuration Wizard, enter the following command:
$> ./config.cmd
On the Configuration Type page, perform the following steps:
c.     Select Create a new domain.
d.     Enter a location for the domain. In this tutorial, the location is /Middlerware/<ORACLE_HOME>/userproject/domains/mydomain. (Or its Come by default.)
e.     Click Next.
Note: You can choose a different name and location for your domain.



On the Templates page, perform the following steps:
f.      Select Create Domain Using Product Templates.
g.     Leave All Templates selected for Template Categories.
h.     Under Available Templates, Basic WebLogic Server Domain is selected and cannot be deselected. It is the only required template.
i.      Click Next.

On the Administrator Account page, enter a name and a password, confirm the password, and then click Next
In this tutorial, the username is weblogic and the password is Welcome1.
Important: Do not forget this username and password. You need them to perform any administrative task.


On the Domain Mode and JDK page, perform the following steps:
j.      Under Domain Mode, select Production.
k.     Under JDK, select Oracle HotSpot. The version of your HotSpot JDK may be different.
l.      Click Next.



On the Advanced Configuration page, select which domain resources that you want to configure, and then click Next.
In this tutorial, Administration ServerNode Manager, and Managed Servers, Clusters and Coherence are selected.
As you select more options, more screens are listed on the left side of the wizard.


On the Administration Server page, perform the following steps:
m.    Leave the default value for Server Name.
n.     Enter the host name or IP address of the machine for Listen Address.
o.     Leave the Listen Port at 7001.
p.     Leave Enable SSL deselected.
q.     Click Next.

On the Node Manager page, perform the following steps:
r.      Node Manager Type: Leave the default value of Per Domain Default Location.
s.     Node Manager Credentials: Enter weblogic for the username and Welcome1 for the password. You will use these credentials to communicate with Node Manager.
Note: The credentials for Node Manager do not have to match the administrator account credentials.
t.      Click Next.

On the Managed Servers page, click Add to display a row in the table.
In the new row, enter the following information:
u.     Enter server1 for the Server Name.
v.     Enter the host name or IP address of the machine for the Listen Address.
w.    Ensure that the Listen Port is 7003.
x.     Leave Enable SSL deselected.
y.     Click Next.


On the Clusters page, click Next.

On the Machines page, perform the following steps:
z.     Select the Machine tab.
aa.   Click Add.
bb.   In the new row, enter machine1 for the Name.
cc.   Enter the host name or IP address of the machine for the Node Manager Listen Address.
dd.   Leave the Node Manager Listen Port as 5556.
ee.   Click Next.

On the Assign Servers to Machines page, perform the following steps:
ff.     Under Machines, ensure that machine1 is selected.
gg.   Under Servers, select server1 and click the right arrow button to move it under machine1.
hh.   Select server2 and click the right arrow button to move it under machine1.
ii.     Click Next.

On the Configuration Summary page, click Create.

On the Configuration Progress page, click Next after the progress bar reaches 100%.

On the Configuration Success page, make note of the domain location and the URL of the administration console, and then click Finish.

You have created a WebLogic Server domain.

      I didn't try this but i think it is not possible because java version not support 11g weblogic server
