RENAME REPORT SERVER 11G


RENAME REPORT SERVER 11G

Start:
Step 1.  Open Command Prompt.
Step 2. cd C:\Middleware\asinst_1\bin.
Step 3.  Execute command "opmnctl stopall ".



Step 4.  cd C:\Middleware\Oracle_FRHome1\BIN
Step 5.  Execute command "emctl stop agent ".





Step 6.  Go to C:\Middleware\asinst_1\config\OPMN\opmn
Edit and update the report server name in following…
\opmn.xml







Step 7. Go to C:\Middleware\asinst_1\config\ReportsServerComponent\repserver
Rename the folder name same as Report server name.



Step 8. Go to C:\Middleware\asinst_1\config\ReportsServerComponent\repserver
Change reports server name in following...
\component-logs.xml.
\logging.xml.

Installing Oracle Forms and Reports

Installing Oracle Forms and Reports 12c on Windows 7 64 Bit.

I have installed this forms and reports 12c on my Microsoft Windows 7 Home basic.

Hardware used for this installation is
  •            Intel i3-2370M CPU
  •           8 GB RAM
  •           64 Bit Operating system Windows 7 Home Basic Service Pack 1


Software required to be Installed on your machine.
·                            JDK-8u92-windows-x64.exe.
·                            Oracle 12c pluggable database with AL32UTF8 Character set.
·                            Weblogic Server (Infrastructure)

Oracle Forms & Reports 12c Installation Steps.
Step 1.  Download Oracle Forms and Reports 12c (12.2.1.0) Released on October 23, 2015 from below location.



Step 2.  Unzip forms 12c setup file. 

Step 3.  Right Click the unzipped setup file and select Run as administrator. Select Yes when asked for User access control.




Step 4.   Click Next on Welcome Screen.

Step 5.   Skip Auto Update and click Next.



Step 6.   Enter weblogic server (Middleware) home path where you have installed it. Click Next button.

Software used for this Installation. 
Jdk-8u92-windows-x64.exe 
Oracle 12c pluggable database with AL32UTF8 Character set.

JAVA Installation
Step 1. Download JDK from below location



Step 2.  Open download location and right click and select Run as administrator.
               Install jdk on its default path. Don’t Changes their Installation path.



Step 3.  Click Next.


 Step 4.  Click Change button to change the path from c:\Program files



Step 5.  Path is changed to C:\Java and click Next.


Step 6.  Change the path for Java JRE Setup.

Installing Oracle 12c Database on Windows 7 64 Bit


This tutorial is used to install new 12c Release 1 (12.1.0.2.0) for Microsoft Windows (x64)
 64 bit platform using Oracle Universal Installer.
I have installed this database on my Microsoft Windows 7 Home basic.
Hardware used for this installation is   
Intel i3-2370M CPU
8 GB RAM
64 Bit Operating system Windows 7 Home Basic Service Pack 1

Prerequisites
1) You should have Oracle Database 12c distribution media or you can download 2 zip file from oracle official website. http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/database/enterprise-edition/downloads/database12c-win64-download-2297732.html









2) Extract it to your local drive will make folder name database.



Installing Oracle 12c Database.
1) Expand the database folder which you have extracted and Right click your mouse button to Setup.exe select Run as administrator and click YES button when asked for User access control.
